Bengali Literature is called "Bangla Shahityo" in Bengali literature. Bangla literature first appeared between 10 to 12 Century. The earliest writings of Bangla literature is "Chayapaddo" which is song of Bhuddist. After that period history of Bengali literature is divided into two parts.
