Kazi Anwar Hossain is a Bangladeshi Author, Translator and publisher of Bangladesh. He is more popular for his spy thriller series, Masud Rana Series. Masud Rana is a Character of Fiction created by Author Kazi Anwar
Hossain in 1966 in his more over 450 books. Masud Rana is an International Spy, a former Major of the Bangladesh Army conducts missions all over the world in books of Masud Rana series. Kazi Anwar Hossain is also proprietor & Publisher of Sheba Prokashoni from 60th decade of Bangladesh and publishes various books, magazines from Shegun Bagicha, Dhaka. Porjapoti Prokashi is sister concern of Sheba Prokashi. Monthly mysterious magazine, Rahasya Patrika is published from Sheba Prokashani which is one of the digest magazine of Bangladesh. Sheba Prokashoni also published translated and books of Rakib Hasan, Tipu Kibriya, Anis Das Apu, Asaduzzaman, Niaz Morshed and many others. Qazi Anwar Hossain was born on 19th July 1936, Dhaka. His father, Qazi Motahar Hossain was a national professor (Bangladesh), writer and scientist. Kazi Anwar Hossain grew up in literary family where most of members are author, scientist, singer, actress etc. He created another popular series, Kuasha which have 76 books. He also wrote by pen names such as Biddut Mitra, Samsuddin Nawab etc.
